A Block is just an empty container until you begin adding tabs to it. The tabs define how you will store your information. Tabs are the fundamental structural component inside a Block, just like a table in a database. Build the tab first, then build the fields that will be tracked on that tab. In truth, the configuration of tabs is the easy part; it's in the planning stage that the work really happens.
This tutorial teaches authorized users how to build tabs inside Blocks on the GraceBlocks platform. Specifically, it covers the following:
- Plan: How to approach planning out the tabs you will build.
- Configure: How to add tabs, reviewing the key properties of the tab structure, including the following elements:
- Tab NAME
- Tab RECORD NAME
- Tab ICON
- Tab RECORD IDENTIFIER
- Modify: How to move, modify (including modifying the record identifier), and delete tabs.
